Kinesiology Tape is a drug-free and highly elastic tape commonly used by athletes, gym goers and medical practitioners. It uses the elasticity and adhesion of the tape to create a pulling or compressing effect on the skin, which in turn has a fixing, supporting, promoting and relaxing effect.

At the same time, unlike the usual white patches used after an injury, there is no need for layers of wrapping. It is more convenient.

Types and effects.

The use of Kinesiology Tape can be divided into 5 shapes depending on the needs of each individual.

O-shape: first leave the first and last ends of the tape, then fold the tape in half and simply cut through the centre. For fixation and protection, used for fractures and soft tissue injuries.

X-shape: first fold the tape in half and cut from the middle of each end, remembering to leave the middle part open. Promotes blood circulation to the fixed end and is suitable for pain relief in the area.

Type I: This is the most common way of cutting before exercise, simply measure the length of the tape and cut it off. Supports and relaxes the muscles and also improves technical performance.

Type Y: It is recommended to leave the tape at the fixed end 3 to 5 cm long and to cut it along the central dotted line of the back pro sheet. Adjusts muscle tension and is suitable for relaxing tight muscles.

Claw type: leave 3 to 5 cm at the fixed end and cut along the dotted line behind the back pro paper to complete the 4 or 6 branches. Directs tissue fluid into the nearest lymph node. Often used to reduce swelling.
