1. Single-sided and double-sided conductive

According to its electrical conductivity, aluminum foil tape is divided into two types: double-lead aluminum foil tape and single-lead aluminum foil tape. Aluminum foil is a metal, which has conductive properties. Double-lead aluminum foil tape uses conductive glue as the back glue to produce double-sided conductive effect. On the contrary, single-lead aluminum foil tape uses non-conductive glue, and only the side containing aluminum foil conducts electricity. Aluminum foil tape is often used when repairing LCD TVs and other household appliances. When repairing involves touch switches, using this tape can enhance the conductivity of touch switches. If the remote control buttons at home lose their conductivity and the effect of using conductive glue is not very good, you can cut a small piece of aluminum foil tape and stick it on the reverse side of the button to enhance the conductivity.

2. Temperature resistance and corrosion resistance

Because the aluminum foil has been processed by the furnace at high temperature when it is formed, another main feature of aluminum foil tape is temperature resistance. The temperature resistance of ordinary aluminum foil tape is usually 80°, and the double-lead aluminum foil tape can even reach 120°.

The anti-corrosion function is achieved because the aluminum foil tape is waterproof, anti-aging, non-curing, non-cracking, long-term non-movement, non-peeling and other conditions. In addition, due to the role of aluminum foil reflecting ultraviolet light and its own unique characteristics of self-passivation in the air, the tape has excellent anti-ultraviolet function and anti-aging function, can play the role of anti-corrosion and insulation for a long time, and will not easily phenomenon of peeling and delamination occurs.

3. Strong sealing

The aluminum foil tape has excellent barrier properties, moisture-proof and air-tight. When the electrical wiring in the home is worn or cracked, aluminum foil tape can be used to wind and repair it, which can play a certain sealing role. And because the insulation performance is superior, it is more suitable for circuit maintenance.
